Dr. Pairach Piboonrungroj is the founding director of MICE Excellence Centre at the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University. The focus of the MICE Excellence Centre is to develop human resources, database and research to support the MICE industry in Chiang Mai province and the Lanna (Northern) region of Thailand. Dr. Pairach is also appointed by the governor of Chiang Mai as one of the MICE city committee members since 2018.
His education background started with a First Class Honour degree in Bachelor of Economics at Chiang Mai University. Then he won the Royal Thai Government Scholarship to study Masters of Science (Logistics and Operations Management with Distinction) and PhD degree (Supply Chain Management) at Cardiff University, United Kingdom. Xinyi Liang-Pholsena spearheads and manages the editorial content for TTG Asia Media’s market-leading travel business titles, including the flagship TTG Asia print magazine and website as well as TTG show dailies. Based in Bangkok, she is a veteran business journalist with more than a decade’s experience covering the Asia travel industry, and has previously written for Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Jetstar Asia and Exo Travel. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography from the National University of Singapore.
